The Type 692 head is documented in different cylinder-register and valve-guide configurations. The cylinder, valve guides and valve seats are therefore matched together with the existing engine build. Similar-looking heads are not automatically interchangeable.

Type 692 cylinder head and related components
RD-002 is listed for the Porsche Type 692 four-cam engine. Similar-looking finned cylinder heads are not evidence of interchangeability. The catalog therefore lists Type 547, 692 and 587 heads as separate items.
If the cylinders also need replacement, we consider them with the cylinder head, pistons and crankcase. The separate RD-023 cylinder listing helps you explore that part of the build; it does not mean cylinders are included with RD-002.
